The American Chemical Society is a congressionally charted independent membership organization which represents professionals at all degree levels and in all fields of chemistry and science that involve chemistry

 

What is the ACS at St. John's University?

 

ACS at St. John's University is a Student Chapter, meaning it is run by the students for the students. We are part of the New York Local Section of the ACS. We hold seminars almost every week (some of which are cross-discipline), with people from both industry and academia coming to present their research to our students. We also have workshops on furthering careers, and social events for networking.
